A Quick Update

Things have been a bit madly busy of late and I’m struggling to find the time to blog.

I’ve finally got the funding through for the cooking school and have started a Facebook page

https://m.facebook.com/GillWatsonBudgetCooking

which I update it at least once a day – today I’ve posted four times – and it will feature recipes and money saving tips including the best deals around in the supermarkets.

I’ll be cooking at the Colne Food Festival again on 29th November. This year I have been sponsored by Sainsbury’s, Lancashire County Council and Pendle Council. It will also be the launch of the cookery school which is part of the charity Pendle Helping Hands.

What else? Well I interviewed Jack Monroe for the launch of her new cook book and asked her about the posh girlfriend, the goldfish and her decision to sell through Amazon. It will be posted on my blog a week after it’s out in the magazine as will my regular column.

Please have a look at the Facebook page, like it and share it and I’ll love you all eternally.
